What went well
What went well
The bank’s team and our team were closely aligned throughout the project. The client had a clear vision: a modern, user-friendly banking experience designed for people in Wisconsin. Communication was direct and collaborative, with clear feedback that helped us make decisions quickly and stay aligned on the product’s direction.

Challenges
Challenges
One of the biggest challenges was creating a modern banking experience that felt relevant to users in Wisconsin while staying true to the client’s goals. We had to research both what the client envisioned and the pain points users were already experiencing with existing banking experiences. Since the brand identity was still being finalized when we started, I also contributed to shaping the visual direction and establishing a foundation for the product’s look and feel.

What I'd do differently
What I'd do differently
I’d involve real users earlier through interviews and usability testing to better understand their needs, expectations, and behaviors. This would give us stronger validation for our design decisions. I’d also explore more motion and micro-interactions to make the experience feel more engaging and bring the interface to life.
